For more than 125 years, the Jackson Park Yacht Club’s sailing school has been teaching children and adults how to sail. Our courses provide the opportunity for both kids and adults to develop the skills and confidence necessary to enjoy the sport of sailing.
Come learn how to sail at beautiful Jackson Park Outer Harbor.
Instructors teach both beginner and intermediate sailors on either dinghies (i.e., small boats) or keelboats (i.e., 25 foot or larger):
● Adult Keelboat Classes: Learn to sail on JPYC’s 25-foot keelboats. These are the vessels that you see at the docks in most harbors. These vessels provide a stable, yet nimble, platform for learning how to sail and on the water.
